Friday the 13th Was Yesterday

It has been 9 days since i left home. Nothing much changed cept that more fresh chicks can be seen everywhere.
Been to the cc 2 days before, and i saw hot chicks all over. It was heaven, but i was too busy doing other things, no time to get the low down... wasted.

Neway, my oh so called salah register last semester that i can shamelessly admit here has taken its toll. im not allowed to join the band and instead i have to choose other activities to occupy my supposedly after friday service nap time.
no, i am not allowed to even transfer my activity marks like i did last sem. i am not allowed to seat for the band paper for exams (which was terribly easy, and i assume it will always be that way) and i am not allowed to blow whatever instruments or bang whatever drums like i gladly did before. and i miss the mangkuks a lot. and all thanks to my friend's sis who wrongly registered me into the national kesatria 1.

So it left me with no other decent alternative, and relunctantly (and by mistake... a terrible one i hope not), i chose public speaking. And i was left with 12 other people who i guess didn't know what they are up to, oh wait... make it 10, coz the other 2 looks like they intended to get their arse fucked with this. The teach has a motor in her mouth that makes it impossible not to hear her voice every minute.

Im screwed. Help.

About lecture classes i have a weirdo with an even weirder moustache teaching me management. pm abdullah is like weird and dangerous. i wont live in peace in his class. nobody will. My costing teach will definitely give more works and assignments in the future. she gave us a quiz in her first lecture class and next week will be no different. remember damnit, it'll be on monday.
my english lecturers, again 2 of them but not from last sem are being the usual bunch that dont excite me. oh wait, apart from english, the male teach teaches spanish as well!!! so he excites me.

Hola muchachas. como se llama? yo soy zaid la gordo.

kill me. kill me don't. please.

My microeconomics lecturer on the other hand is the only decent one ive seen so far. he's like the common 50-somethings that i can easily relate to my dad and his friends. he's good. am starting to love him. oh, that left me with my ctu ustazah whom im still yet to meet.

I have discovered the meaning of "rep" in "class rep". its a short form for representative. and i am a class rep. fuck it.

I guess ive summed up everything about class... should get my arse out of here, been here for more than an hour... i'll have to beg for money if i stay here much longer. no more free food in the dining hall. we have debit cards instead with rm40 allocated to every student for the first 15 days of the month.i have rm5 for another 2 days.

Am soooo looking forward to the simpsons movie...

Why So Soon???Whyyyy!!!???

Somehow, in some point in your life, you will wonder why things move pretty quickly. It is as if like the tsunami, or like the penalty thriller in a football final where the last person to take the kick can determine the winner if he nets in his penalty kick. And when the ball swiftly gets into the net, all hell breaks loose. In a sudden the player who nets the winning goal and his team go ecstatic and the losing side gets a psychological low blow. All in a sudden. After all the efforts being put from the qualifying stage all the way to the final, with that sudden blow, all things move pretty quickly.

I feel as if im in the losing side.

I have approxiamtely 7 hours left before i have to pack my things up into the car and say goodbye to my comfy home and be on my way to hellhole. All things that i had planned before the holidays i can sum up as, failure. Or simply non existent during my holidays. I was thinking of picking up french or japanese through the internet. Ok, it started well with the japanese thing, but only for 3 days and then i was off to the ever addictive football manager 2007... and never to return.

So, apart from watching weeds and honey&clover, trip to kelantan and genting, digging through zero7 and rachael yamagata, and also getting my phone and lap top fixed, my holidays is considered wasted. I need more time... I NEED MORE HOLIDAYS!!! Why the holidays went so quickly!!!??? Whyyy!!!???

I'm so fucked up, and i shouldn't be languishing in self pity... i have to smile more.

Genting Highlands 07

A lot of things happened in the course of last week. I went to pacific (the mall) twice in a space of 4 days for bowling + the pirate movie, got my wallet rm150 lighter for my phone repair and the brits have a new pm whose name is brown. and never forget the brazilians got humbled against the unfancied mexicans in their copa america opener.

go argentina! hell yes!

So, along with the stuffs i just mentioned above, i went to genting highlands last week which was part of my dad's farewell trip. Yes, my dad was about to retire one week after the trip which wooheedoodeedoo, is today! More about him later.

Back to the cameron highlands thing, my parents and i as planned (and as expected) were on the road to kl to visit tot and moleh, or my sis and bro respectively. Been to their house and after spotchecking their fridge, feeling a bit outdated and curious i grabbed a "Mini Poppers". which taste good. So i grabbed another one. and seems that im starting to love the stuff. how long has it been in the market?

I need one now...

So, we picked up my sis (my bro had work) and dashed off to genting highlands early in the morning. very early in fact. imagine waking up at 5am. yes. THAT early.

and as expected, we arrived early.

wayyy too early...

earlier than some workers... oh look, one people on elevator!
ok now, the shop is open...

in case you might wonder what we were doing that morning, we were actually waiting for my dad's office mates + their family who happened to come an hour later after the shop in the picture up here opened. you got me, i hate waiting.

so here is tot + aboh's office gang. and if you look carefully, you can see my mom pointing at something in my direction. i wonder what she was pointing at.

mom + dad + untie ruby (in orange)

so we gathered there for like 10 minutes or so and up we went to the cable car!!! and if my memory serves me correctly, i havent been into one of those since the last time i came here, which was a decade ago perhaps?

from inside the cable car.

mom + untie ruby... so who is untie ruby anyway? the story so far; mom and untie ruby were officemates during their early days, until my mom decided to retire early.

i wonder what happens if i swing the gondola xD

after a few minutes in the cable car we then arrived at the peak.

whoaaa

ok now, i let the pictures do the talking, kinda lazy to think.

dad and his cable car...
i have mine as well xP

our stay in genting highlands. and it is called the "first world hotel".

so we arrived there around 11am and after checking in at the hotel, its time to play. oh, before we get to play, we have to get our wrists tagged.

an unnecessary reminder, i know. im old.

playland.

ok, i like this pix a lot. if i am to remember anything about genting highlands, apart from the casino, this is definitely one of em.

sigur ros - olsen olsen

...
the bear band!w00t!!!

welcome to malaysia, we have ghosts for you to visit.

i had been waiting long for this...

before the first 3d show.

this pix is cool, i must definitely get one for myself.

... and so i did.

Right, not much talking. The last 2 pix was taken from the last day. it was a 2-day stay at genting.

2 days... kinda remind me of the kelantan trip...

edit : published at 24/06/07. repulished today. and my dad is now a retiree...

Mu nak gapo?

Have you ever felt this weird feeling when there is blood flowing through your arse and makes it numb?and eventually bringing shiver through your whole body?this my friend is what i call fear.and definitely you have experienced one no doubt.

exam results will be released at 6pm today.i need a good result so that i wouldnt get any bad rap from my dad.i had been dissapointing since spm.tolonglah hambaMu ini ya Allah!

anyways, a couple of weeks ago i went to kelantan with my parents and it was surprisingly a bloody short trip to the east coast.it was a 2 day trip mind you.and the terrible headache resulted from the "long and winding road" trip that resulted me suffering from neusea(almost) and a long headache that got me looking like a half living man for half a week after i returned home proves enough that im not created to endure long car trips across the titiwangsa barrier.

and definitely it reminds me a hell lot about again, the road trip to cameron highlands.except that it was almost twice the experience.if hell is famously told down by generations as a hot like a hundred-microwaves- torture country, i have to put that belief aside for a while coz nothing, nothing i tell you is as bad as having to endure the hardships of suffering a half a week long headache.and you wont look like a living creature when you look at yourself at the mirror.

by the way, the four hour(or was it five?) road trip was kind of worth it as i rediscovered my love for beaches (which i havent been to any for a loooong time, 6 months perhaps?).

Introducing... the BEACH!!!

It was almost maghrib at the time...

Stayed there for a nite...

Oh yes, the place that we stayed at is called "Perdana Resort".My mom told me that we used to stay there before when i was in primary school during the school brakes. But honestly, i cant remember the last time i went there.Have i been there before?

Me... with a small family as background.and the milan jersey, its about time isn't it?

Dad wants a pose too...

Mom and dad.

Ok, so we arrived at the resort around 3pm or sorts. So, whats the plan the?Definitely, a reunion with my kelantanese friends!but my limited entries of kelantanese friends in my phone only abled me to only meet two of em, coz they were the only people from kota bharu(sp?) neway (i was thinking that all of my kelantanese friends are from kota bharu... yeah, i was thinking about sufina... bwahahahaha).

So i text ija (the history so far; met her during my time in ns and again in kmk) the same day and everything was set (for such a shortcoming, it was indeed a surprise), khai was coming as well... and with my long lost fav book, the da vinci code, which i thought was with saiful.and i almost gave up bout the book altogether. So we met, but before that, believe it or not, since the business centre (which happens to serve as a refuge whenever i am bored during my travels) is the only thing lacking at the resort, i decided to do the unthinkable.i went for the wayang kulit show.as my parents went for massage.

i want massage :B

A glass of neslo before the "big show".And nasi goreng.

It was again, another surprise... enjoyable... though i hardly able to make any sense of what the "tukang karut" or whatever they call the story teller is.it was my first time and i tried to put the characters and story into sense.i found out that there was a lot of fighting scenes in it and weird characters (old guys, dragons, snakes, some devil looking kings, chicks with hour glass cuts, monsters, mermaids... and definitely there is more to it coz the next episode of the wayang kulit was held the next evening, and i wasnt there.2-day trip remember?)

Monsters talking to each other in kelantanese.

Old man seeking help from the good guys.

Sea dragon and her grandson, and no, they're not fighting (my kelantanese is not that bad to dechiper this)

Monsters meeting their dragon king.

Behind the scene.

It was almost 12 when the tukang karut informed the audience that the last episode will be showed on the next evening. So i head back to my chalet for sleep.and waiting for the next day.

And the "next day" had arrived!woke up kinda early, didnt sleep after the subuh prayer, odd given that i have this unenvied tendency of going back to sleep until 10am.So, around 11am or sorts my parents drop me at KB Mall, definitely bigger than any shopping mall in Perlis (Kulim is out of the equation) but like those in Perlis, they lack the all important cinema.I went to the mall's Popular book store and picked up the historian by elizabeth kostova (it was in my wanted list for a long time) and there, at the counter, i saw a tall guy, hypes aside, it was khai!and he brought along my da vinci code!!!yeahhh!!!jejak kasih bebeh!but i met ija earlier though, she wants to hit out for some shoes with her friend.Met em, and chatted with em lots... kind of pointless to list down the topics though.

So we went to the food court for some drinks, then we hit mcd for lunch.hell i was going to get broke but luckily i didnt.rm50 well spent.it was fun, tho i still find it hard to understand kelantanese from khai (thank god ija speaks kedah... no joke, kedah bebeh!)had some mcchicken and i discovered that ija cant eat chicken mcspicy simply because, it is spicy... -.-", wasted daaa...

Evidence that i met them.

One for the camera.

Ija and flashman.

Mcd, and the spicy chicken...

So, after the lunch cum reunion, i left the mall to my parents who were waiting just outside the mall (supposedly after more tudung shopping) and we head straight back to kulim.at about 2pm.2-day trip, cool ait?

Ok now, i guess i should stop as for now.Result in 4 hours time.Bye!

p/s : Yes, this is my first post with pictures, and definitely the longest post as well! And the first one for this month(or the only one for this month) and the first since i reformat my pc (reformat it last week).I have lotsa time to kill... man!
