The Girl From Kemunting

NOTE : It is best if you play this song while reading this post to invoke the romantic nature of this post. Whatever that means...

I had a great chat with a wonderful girl while on the way back home from Arau two nights ago.

It all started when I boarded the KTM train, with a no-seat-guaranteed written on its ticket. Which got me kinda confused at how things go at KTM. They can sell tickets to those returning to anywhere but Kedah/Penang a few weeks earlier and those returning to the said destinations can only buy the ticket on boarding day!? WTF??? Which guarantees a no-seat trip, and leg cramps - to Alor Setar at least.

But I was lucky to meet Jeha - an ACELS member during my time as president (kena mention ke??? xD) - who generously gave away her seat to me so that she can seat with her bf (eh?); after noticing I was standing like a tortured soul whose having leg cramps for about 1 hour, and staring at her like a possessed cayote desperate to get his arse sitting.

I would like to say thank you.

And so, I was seating at her place. Right next to a decent looking chick (score!), but she was sleeping, but she looks sooo cute while sleeping T.T... and so, I laid my boney arse into the surprisingly comfy chair, and somehow I woke her up from her sleep... like... alamak!

But somehow, after a few odd minutes, we chat... out of boredom of not being able to sleep and in her case - returning to sleep. And from then on I realised how pure and sincere this girl is, unlike most girls I see back in campus who are mostly posers who fancy the US version of mamak stall - starbucks - or any other Israel financiers and machine-made designer labels and act sif they're super hot. She is different and in fact, from how I see it, has a very strong personality, and she's fun to be with!

So she's a part 2 agro student from Kemunting. Her name is Mira and she's third in the family, and she lives with her young and sporting stepmom together with 7 other siblings. Her dad died last year, years after her mom's, but somehow I see that she got over it very well, as if she has got used to it. She's smart, she knows what she is talking about and she almost scored a dean's list last sem! Apart from the fact that she's kinda hot and single, I clearly think I've met my match. It was the best chat I've had in a while and the usually long hours in the train felt very short.

And I forgot to ask for her number :B

But I shall try! This could be one of those how-I-met -your-mother/romantic valentine's day story!
... and whenever I hear this song, I remember her.

Happy Chinese New Year!

I See the Return of al-Fetto Drebo Gartay Punani

Zaid of the future, this is the period where you re-realised that your swine-physique debtor of a five score (in Malaysian monetary value) -which has gone a notch north thinking that you're giving him a NPL- who poses as a desperate stylissimo-wannabe is indeed the al-Fetto Drebo Gartay Punani.

And he's making a comeback!

Seriously, I can't find anyone as pathetic and sorry such as the poser. Look closer into the mirror, get smart and be like one if the worldly riches (which I believe is his ultimate goal) is what he wanted. And instead of acting like a super-liquid girl magnet who "par-tays" till dawn, buying unmatched pricey wears and vehemently wanting to be known as that "cool kid", its a billion times better if he takes out some of his supposedly fat wallet and make that long-overdued dues, shed the attention-whoring and perform his prayers. And really, it got my attention that the girls (my juniors especially) whom he has been their motor slave not too long ago (and still is) are just hanging around your bulging belly due to your daddy's toy. With all honesty, my juniors themselves said that!

Such lowlife. You gucci swine...

... and suddenly, I'm bitching like a 16-yo girl! WTF!!!??? XD
... and indeed, it is my intention to make this post as in-understandable as possible! BWAHAHAHA

In other news, I'm now officially a part time tuition teacher teaching UPSR and SPM kids English. And I have PD test tonight. :B

I Had Lunch at Juliana and I Saw This...

"Dyesebel and Fredo, mermaid and man, love each another against all odds in this quaintly Filipino story." - the star online

You can follow the show at 2pm, ASTRO Prima on tuesdays.

Ever watched a foreign tv show where you won't bother understanding the cheesy storyline, trying to make sense of something (obviously) illogical, and just marvel at the hotness of the smoking hot asian chicks wearing sexually suggestive mermaid-costumes (got the hint?) for a full one hour without bother reading a single word from the subs (they speak filipino) while eating nasik paprik?

Well, I have.

And apparently, if you follow this link you will learn that the tv series (and the hot chicks) are making wave internationally, making it one of the most successful filipino tv series ever!

I don't have class this evening due to the lecturers having a meeting with the new VC. Though there's a chance the RM class will still go as usual, I'm still hell bent not to attend the class at 4:30 even if there's any. MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

Thank you.

If Only They Still Don't Know How to Use the Computers.

The only reason soccernet is much better than goal.com is that soccernet rarely/doesn't have useless comments from glory hunting nigerian/african readers.

I'm longing to post this into the comment box... to the glory hunters of africa...

Just stick to your fucking team, respect others, and don't degrade other teams as if you are a football pundit. And learn how to type like a proper man damn it! And of course, brush up your fucking English before you post a fucking comment! I am fucking sick of wasting my time reading unintelligible/useless comments from you fucking nigerians at goal!

But goal.com has better Seria A news coverage. The world is not fair!!!

To Stay or Not to Stay

Lately I've been contemplating whether it is worthwile if I am to go forward with my plan to further my studies elsewhere.

Three years back, I was hell bent on studying my ass off over the course of my diploma studies so that I can study abroad to such an extent where I set myself a Vision 07 - created while I was accompanying my dad for his meeting in Langkawi - and had not gone astray in my quest for overseas education, which is testament to my desire to do so. And so, I succeeded in getting a desirable score in my diploma, and I have the choice to embark on the journey knowing that I'm as good as anyone else who shares the same ambition as I do. And be with those friends and families whom I was envious of for them having the opportunity I don't have up until now.

But somehow, as time passes by, my desire to go that extra mile has gone away little by little. I just spoke to a friend this morning and she hit home that "grey-area" questions and doubts that have gotten into me for quite a time now.

Now for starters, I'm not an adventurous guy. And so I don't like to change things if things are going well. I am now doing my degree and things are sorted out perfectly already. I know what I should aim for at this moment and over the next few years of my studying. I have made (and still am making) friends, old and new and many lecturers know me. I have a cozy place to stay with nice housemates and (cute) neighbours and I cycle to class like some fucking environmentalist.

Secondly, I would have wasted another 6 months of my life crawling my way up the hill of academicia for a degree which is as good a degree I can get over here if I manage to repeat my feat during my diploma days. And that adds to another 6 months I wasted during my time doing matrix.

Thirdly, despite how many times I say I despise Arau, somehow the place has grown over me...

And so, I basically have everything laid out in front of me and I just have to follow the route and feel secure about myself. Which is the way I would like it to be. Secured.

But really, the opportunity of studying abroad doesn't come easily. With the diploma I'm having I can be convinced that I can reach that ambition I was fighting for for the past 3 years. And I'm not convinced of pulling the sort of result I got during then in my degree. And of course, the many useful and precious experience and the different people and culture which can only be obtained abroad.

I'm in a real dilemma.

p/s : sorry for tagging you guys, but i need your opinions... and i'm emoing like a cow on pms! sorry again...
